Most of the time I can’t share too much detail about my assignments due to confidentiality. The following scenarios are a combination of multiple mandates and are supposed to give an impression for why and whatfor I was brought on board.

M365 Business Roll-out

Thanks to the unique situation in 2020, virtual collaboration is more present than ever. Microsoft 365 with MS Teams, SharePoint & Co. is probably one of the most common foundations for the business productivity side of the Digital Workplace. Its impact on ways of working, communication, information and document management and collaboration is so substantial that a mere technical roll-out is almost doomed to fail.

On various occasions, I have helped clients with the attempt to nurture business adoption and facilitate change management.

Outline of my mandate(s)

Design an approach to position Microsoft 365 in the right way to replace and/or complement the existing business productivity infrastructure. Establish scalable onboarding & training concepts, a Power User Community and support the upskilling of the IT operations & support organisation. Design and support the communication strategy for project communication, roll-out and change management. Support the design of implementing the required change in management and leadership models.

Digital Strategy Framework & Roadmap

Business digitalisation is heavily dependent on the existing organisational context. Not all digital visions and benchmarks are suited to all companies. To find the right approach, magnitude and sequence for a digitalisation program, I work with executive and business teams.

I usually guide core team and stakeholders along the journey to a well-informed decision. My ADDP model and utilising (virtual) design thinking workshops usually comes in quite handy.

Support management and stakeholders in defining priorities and organisational impact of digital initiatives. Evaluate requirements in the context of customer experience, operational excellence and innovation and generate buy-in/commitment from business stakeholders. Create a foundation for a stable roadmap that will survive turbulent times and provides enough agility to adjust to a moving industry or market ecosystem.
